Cleaning advise
Our cleaning tips are based on our many years of experience and cover
typical issues. This page is not a complete guide to
cleaning, for an exact solution to your need please contact
us.
For successful cleaning when using a single disc or burnisher, a few steps
are worth following for a better floor care result.
Before you start, the determining factors are:
-
Type of floor > Vinyl, linoleum, polyurethane, wood, stone, etc.
-
Type of soiling > Oil, grease, varnish, glue, food,
spilled liquid, etc.
-
Type of chemical > Acid, alkaline, neutral, disinfection
polymer, wax etc.
Based on these factors you can make the right choice of pads and brushes.
It is not difficult to work with a single disc but here are some hints that
might improve your productivity.
Cleaning advice for multi-directional single disc machines
|
Start as far away as possible from the power point, or at a doorway
-
scrub from right to left to keep the cleaning solution around
the machine
-
work backwards to prevent walking on the already cleaned area
-
work in a straight line and overlap by approx. one third of
the machine’s width
-
work sideways to improve cleaning results.

Note: The guide
is based on multi-directional walk-behind single discs and
burnishers. The procedure is different for in-line burnishers and
ride-on’s.

machine’s width.
-

(same principle for ride-on machines)
