Double Our Performance
Nilfisk-Advance had its best year to date in 2007. We experienced strong progress in all areas of our business, but we still have huge ambitions for doing it even better. In 2006 we launched our Mission 2011 – X2: Double our performance. We have the ambition of doubling our turnover by 2011 to EUR 1.5M and improving our operational earnings to more than 10% of our turnover.
In 2007 we took the first steps towards realizing our goals for 2011. We grew our turnover by 9% (in local currencies) to EUR 776M and improved our earnings by 24% to EUR 68M. This is the result of the dedicated team effort of all our 5000 employees. We have shown that we have the skills and resources required to realize our Mission 2011 – X2.
Committed to service our customers
Every day we strive to service our customers so they can do their jobs better at lower cost. Our global organization ensures close contact with our customers – where ever they are in the world. We will continue to expand our market reach by opening new sales companies in markets such as India, South America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Furthermore we have demonstrated with our five recent acquisitions and with more to come that we will take an active part in the consolidation of the professional cleaning equipment industry.
Another part of being global is that we are able to deliver and service our products effectively all over the world. We have increased focus on the supply chain efficiency and will continue to invest significant resources in improving our product flow and aftermarket services.
More than one new product per month
Our products are the core of our business. We are proud to be Product Driven with Customer Focus. Nilfisk-Advance’s products have always been known for their superior quality and high cleaning performance. One of our core values is to make it stay that way. We will never compromise on quality and will continue to focus on developing innovative products that meet and exceed our customers’ needs.

2007 was a truly outstanding year for Nilfisk-Advance.
