Nilfisk-Advance acquires British dealer ICM

Nilfisk-Advance is strengthening its position in the industrial market in the United Kingdom by acquiring British dealer ICM, Industrial Cleaning Machines; a Wolverhampton based company specializing in the Service, Hire and Sales of Industrial Cleaning Machinery.

The acquisition of ICM is expected to contribute to continuous growth in the UK market.

With the acquisition of ICM Nilfisk-Advance expands its market reach and establishes a strong industrial service capability in the industrial heartland of the UK with a strong potential for growth. ICM has a substantial industrial customer base which will benefit from new opportunities within full Nilfisk product range including the growing Nilfisk Outdoor business.

ICM employs 15 staff and will be fully integrated in Nilfisk-Advance UK.  The acquisition will take effect as from February 1, 2012.
